Exporting Databases to a CSV File

CodeREADr supports the ability to export saved barcode information to a CSV file. A CSV (comma separated variable) file is an open source format typically openable through third party non proprietary software such as notepad, textedit, or even notable softwares such as Microsoft Office Excel, or Quicken. Export a database using the following steps.

  1. Click on the Databases tab on the navigation bar
  2. Click on the database or the edit button of that database that you would like to export
  3. Click on the export tab
  4. Click on the button ‘Export Database’

Your database will be exported to your email address as a .ZIP folder containing a folder of all barcodes within that database. Your export may take anywhere from 3-5 minutes to export depending on size and email client being used.
